UKアーティスト「Schoony」による、初のアートエキシビション。映画特殊美術の世界で20年のキャリアを積み、2009年からアーティスト活動を開始。わずか１年足らずで、他アーティスト達から注目を集める。
今回のショーは、彼の代名詞と呼べる「Boy Soldier」の彫刻をキャンバスに、４０人を超えるアーティストが作品を施すという、これまでに無い形のコラボ展。Goldie、D*Face、Matt Small、Dan Baldwin、UKを代表する豪華な面々が、参加する2010最大と唱われるショーです。我らUKアダプタからも１人参戦！
ギャラリーは東西ロンドン２箇所、Blackall StudioとGraffik Galleryで開催。９月３日（金）のオープニングイベントでは、様々な催し物やインスタレーションが予定されています。ロンドンにいる方は、絶対お見逃し無く！

Our fourth project follows closely on the heels of the Tokyo show. This time, back to Hong Kong, in association with the Schoeni Gallery, we will be curating a show called 321 Solstice. The show starts on November 17th, (the 321st day of the calendar year) with a live art demonstration by Graphic Airlines, which leads up to the event opening November 19th and welcoming in the winter solstice. A time when creatives take refuge from the cold, in the warmth of their studios, where they can finally get back to the business of creating! This year, we have collected 10 artists from the UK, USA & Hong Kong; Bill London (UK), Cept (UK), David Bray (UK), Friendly Liu (HK), Graphic Airlines (HK), Jon Burgerman (UK), L1ES ONE (HK), Phil Ashcroft (UK), Swoon (USA), Vesna Parchet (UK).
It has been alot of hard work, but we feel that it has all been worth it with the line up of artists we have showing this year. Adapta has handpicked some of the finest talents from a broad spectrum of artistic skills; illustration, graffiti, streetart and graphic design are all backgrounds these artists possess.

オバマ氏をアイコンにした作品が話題を生んだ US ストリートアーティスト Shepard Fairey のソロ・エキシビジョン『Supply And Demand』が、ボストンの ICA (The Institute of Contemporary Art) で本日から開催される。80作品以上も並ぶという。

スーパーモデル「ケイト・モス」の黄金像が、イギリスを代表する博物館『British Museum』に姿を現した。今月4日から始まったこの現代彫刻展は、2009年1月25日まで開催される。
この黄金像はイギリス人芸術家「マーク・クイン」によるもので、50キロの金塊を使用している。時価にして150万ポンド（約2億7千9百万円）。ギリシャ神話に登場する半人半鳥の海の精『セイレン』と名付けられた。
イギリスTV会社 BBC によると、この作品についてマーク・クインはこう語っている。

2003年に開館した現代美術を専門に扱うアート・ギャラリー「The Saatchi Gallery」。アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、中国など世界中で展開する広告代理店「サーチ＆サーチ」の創業者で、アート・コレクターでもあるチャールズ・サーチが、自身の個人的なコレクションを展示するため、1985年にロンドン北部に開いたギャラリーが始まり。この長年の歴史を司る本『The History Of The Saatchi Gallery』がリリースされる。
ロンドンのサウス・バンクにあったサーチ・ギャラリーは、カウンティ・ホールのオーナーとの賃料をめぐるトラブルがあり、サザークを離れて2008年10月、チェルシーの陸軍兵舎跡に移転した。
